Perfect Press® Styrian Pumpkin Oil is rich, nutty tasting and pressed from the seeds of Styrian pumpkins, known in particular for their nutritious seeds. This oil is teeming with healthy fatty acids and contains vitamin K.
Every bottle contains the oil of thousands of Perfectly Pressed™ seeds. Our unique pressing process ensures that there is no damage to the nutritional properties. The finished product is stored in UV-protective Miron glass bottles to maintain quality over time. Zero damage equals zero rancidity.
Usage:
On Food: Styrian pumpkin oil’s vibrant flavor makes it a perfect base for salad dressings and sauces. Add equal parts Styrian pumpkin oil and balsamic vinegar to a jar, put on the lid, and give it a good shake. You’ll end up with a rich, nutty, complex balsamic vinaigrette that’s great on salads. Quick note, though: never heat your Styrian pumpkin oil. It will destroy delicate nutrients and fatty acids.
We don’t recommend cooking with Perfect Press® Styrian Pumpkin Oil as it is a raw seed oil and heat may damage some of its nutritional components. What many customers love to do is add Perfect Press® Styrian Pumpkin Oil to food after it’s been cooked. You can also add it to a smoothie, juice or a salad.
As a supplement: This is about as simple as it gets. Take a tablespoon or two of Styrian pumpkin oil every morning. The antioxidants and nutrients will help you start your day strong.
Topically on skin: Mix a small amount of Styrian pumpkin oil with a neutral carrier oil like jojoba and use it as a moisturizer. The vitamin E, antioxidants, and zinc will keep your skin smooth and hydrated. You can use Styrian pumpkin oil undiluted as a deep moisturiser, but you’ll want to wash it off after a few minutes - the dark green color will stick around if you let it.
